I have a background in chemistry and chemical engineering with the focus on the development of nano- and microstructured materials including synthesis and characterization of Si-Graphite composite materials for Li-ion battery anodes. At TUM I will continue my research on Li-ion battery electrode/electrolyte materials using advanced in-situ and operando neutron techniques and study fundamental mechanisms that take place in the batteries during lithiation and delithiation process such as structural changes, SEI formation, cell degradation or Li diffusion.
