Research & Skills

I am a material scientist and have examined the aging behaviour of NMC cathode material during my master thesis. At TUM, I will continue the characterization of Li-ion batteries using operando neutron scattering and X-Ray scattering techniques as well as post mortem methods to investigate structural changes of the electrodes during the lithiation and delithiation process. Hereby, I will mainly focus on high energy cathode materials.

Electrode materials:
NMC, NCA, Graphite

Applied Methods:
  • Neutron Diffraction
  • X-Ray Diffraction
  • Scanning Electron Microscopy
