Neutrons offer a unique opportunity to solve problems in a wide variety of areas: from basic research to industrially relevant materials research and medical applications to questions about the origins of the universe.

For this reason, we at MLZ and FRM II are all enthusiastic about research with neutrons. We look forward to finding answers to current and pressing questions in the future.

This year, we have laid the foundations: with the imminent completion of the Neutron Guide Hall East, the further optimization of our instruments and the work on our new central channel. We are doing everything we can to make neutrons available to our users again as quickly as possible.
