The FRM II is taking part in the TUM Sustainability Day on 29 April!
On 29 April, TUM will be transformed into a huge sustainability festival: over 120 initiatives, more than 60 interactive sessions and numerous fascinating keynote speeches will demonstrate how sustainability is put into practice in research, teaching and real-world applications. The FRM II will be taking part in the event with two talks and guided tours of the Research Neutron Source Heinz Maier-Leibnitz.
Two guided tours of the FRM II will be offered, at 1.45 pm and 3.15 pm. Places on the tours are limited and advance registration is required.
In addition, two of our scientists, Dr Ralph Gilles and Dr Anatoliy Senyshyn, will give short presentations on current topics:
- 14:00 – 14:30: Dr Ralph Gilles: “Reduction of CO₂ with newly developed high-temperature alloys”
- 17:00 – 17:30: Dr Anatoliy Senyshyn: “Neutron scattering in battery research”
The full programme is available here.
