WE-Heraeus-Klausurtagung “Antimaterie: Positronen in der Grundlagenforschung und Materialphysik”

Operation of the new liquid nitrogen filling system for the high-purity Germanium detectors.

From the 5th to the 8th of July we are organizing a conference with the title “Antimaterie: Positronen in der Grundlagenforschung und Materialphysik” subsidized by the Wilhelm und Else Heraeus-Stiftung. It will take place at the Dresdner Hütte, Stubaital. For the exchange of scientific ideas 2308 m above sea level, we invited international guests working the field Physics with Positrons. There are two major goals for this conference: the social contact to our coworkers and colleagues from other research groups that we missed during the past two years. Additionally we expect to bring our field of studies closer to the younger participants, who are currently doing the Bachelor or Master degree.
