Maustag for Young and Old 2025

A highlight for young and old every year: register now for the “Mouse Day” tours on 3 October!

On 3 October, the Research Neutron Source Heinz Maier-Leibnitz (FRM II) is once again hosting the “Maustag” for Young and Old. Visitors can now register for adult tours and the popular children’s tours of the research neutron source. Questions such as ‘What exactly are neutrons?’ and ‘How do they help in the development of new medicines?’ will be answered.

Even if you don’t take part in a tour, it’s still worth stopping by the TUM’s Mechanical Engineering Building (Boltzmannstraße 15, Garching). There you will have the opportunity to talk directly with our scientists. In addition, there will be exciting information and hands-on stands, lectures, films, VR glasses and Lego models of the instruments.
