70 participants in MLZ conference “Neutrons for Health”

The international MLZ conference Neutrons for Health takes place at Bad Reichenhall this week. A total of 70 scientists from all areas of health and medicine accepted the invitation and set off not only from Germany but also from Italy, France, Russia, and even the USA for example. The talks and posters emphasize the use of neutron scattering, spectroscopy, and irradiation as analytical tools for the characterisation and understanding of biological systems as well as development and applications in medical treatments.
