Open Day and Maustag

This year, there is even more to experience on 3 October! Alongside the Maustag and guided tours for adults at the FRM II, the Open Day at the Galileo building offers a wide range of exciting activities. Without giving away too much: Our hands-on exhibits include a LEGO model, a VR headset, throwing games, a cloud chamber that makes natural radiation visible, and radiation detectors with interactive exhibits where you can take your own measurements.

The easiest way to reach us is by taking the U6 to “Garching-Forschungszentrum” – the venue is just a short walk from the terminus.
